31 Days of Black Business — A New noseyAF Series

This episode is a quick update about what’s coming next for noseyAF.
In August, I’m launching a new series called 31 Days of Black Business — 31 conversations with Black business owners throughout Black Business Month. The idea came after hearing about the month from Denzell Turner of the Black Fridays podcast and getting inspired to try an everyday podcast challenge.
Throughout August, I’ll be talking with Black business owners about how their businesses got started, what they do, and how we can support them.
If you’re a Black business owner (or know one), applications to be part of the series are open through April 30.
In the meantime, the feed may look a little different while I work on recording and producing the series. Expect a few solo episodes and occasional feed drops while I get everything ready.
Thanks for listening, and I can’t wait to share this series with you.

Hey, friend, welcome. Welcome back to noseyAF. It is Stephanie. And I'm just here because if you've been listening, season seven has concluded, and I'm very proud of that.Just wanted to come here. I'm actually just sitting on my couch talking in my phone to you.I just wanted to sort of state a plan of what's going to happen for the next few episodes of noseyAF. So I am going to create a series, a everyday series in August called 31 Days of Black Business. Basically 31 days of talking to black business owners. So August is Black Business Month. I had no idea about this. Denzel Turner, who runs Black Friday's podcast, told me this. And I was just thinking, you know what, I've seen some other podcasters doing this, like, everyday challenge, or they post an episode every day.And I thought I was so inspired by Denzel's podcast and this Black Business Month, I just thought, you know what, maybe I could talk to black business owners for August, and this will be my challenge. And so basically I am telling you because if you, dear listener, are a business owner and you're black, you should sign up to be on the podcast. And we're just going to talk to you about your business, how we can support your business, how your business got started. Sort of these like mini conversations and promote it and promote it for the month of August. And so I am starting to gather who those folks are now.And applications are open through April 30th. And yeah, it's a big undertaking.I think I've never done anything like that before where I'm recording and editing these conversations to go out every. So I'm giving myself some space. So basically on the podcast feed, there will be some solo episodes, some feed drops, but you probably won't be hearing it's going to be spotty. I'm going to keep it filled with fun things that I think you would really enjoy. But just know that that is what I'm working on.And who knows, maybe I'll even come on and tell y' all how it's going in the meantime. But I just wanted to allow myself space to do that. And then after that concludes, then we will come with all of the fun artist, filmmaker, organizer, neighbor conversations that we have been doing for the past 100 or so episodes. So, yeah, that's basically it. And I'm so thankful. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you will enjoy this series. What do you think about it?I would love to hear from you just how any reflections you might have had for the past seventh season or anything of the show. I would just love to hear from you, period. So, yeah, okay. I think that that's it. Thank you so much for listening, and I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
